As part of Kudun and Partners’ Annual Internship Program, the firm welcomed 16 law undergraduates from Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, and Chandrakasem Rajabhat University to join the program from June to July 2024. Additionally, the firm collaborated with Khao Hoon Academy, led by a prominent business news publisher, to include participants from the “KH Camp for Next C-Suite” project in the program.

During the internship, students rotated through several core practice areas of the firm, including Corporate M&A, Capital Markets, Dispute Resolution, Real Estate and Tax, gaining insights from our partners and associates. Each intern was paired with a mentor who guided them through their journey, offering one-on-one advice and support. The interns also visited the Thai Arbitration Institution and Thailand’s civil courts, where they observed real court proceedings, giving them a practical understanding of the legal process and the workings of the judiciary.

To conclude the internship program, the interns completed a final project and presented their findings to our internship committee partners. Saravut Krailadsiri, Ekachai Chotpitayasunon, Kongkoch Yongsavasdikul, and Kongwat Akaramanee, partners of the firm, joined the session to appraise the projects and offer insightful feedback, ensuring that our interns left with not only a wealth of knowledge but also valuable guidance from some of the best legal minds in the industry.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. In addition to the rigorous training, the interns had the opportunity to attend a few social gatherings including our lawyer retreat trip to Pattaya, a setting that fostered camaraderie and strengthened relationships between students and our firm’s associates.

“The hands-on experience and supportive work environment shaped my professional growth and deepened my passion for law. Thank you, KAP, for this precious opportunity and all the memorable experiences.” – Panisra Nunloy, LL.B undergraduate, Faculty of Law of Chulalongkorn University

“Compared to other firms, KAP is much better at creating a collaborative and welcoming culture. Other firms I’ve seen often have a more formal and less connected atmosphere. At KAP, the focus on teamwork and supportive work culture really sets it apart.” Apisornchai Onchanom, LL.B undergraduate, Faculty of Law of Chulalongkorn University

My internship at KAP had been an exceptional journey to learn, grow, and be a part of a supportive community” – Woraissara Nuvong, LL.B undergraduate, Faculty of Law of Thammasat University

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partner, Kongwat Akaramanee, who spearheaded this year’s internship program, and all the committee members; Supatra Kerinsaguna, Chavisa Jinanarong, Chayakorn Boonsri and Thanchon Phetroocheang who contributed with unparalleled dedication to ensure the program’s success, making it a memorable and transformative experience for all involved.
