Kudun and Partners represented state-telecom agency CAT Telecom PLC on its joint venture with satellite operator Thaicom to strengthen Thailand’s telecommunications infrastructure as well as to boost the growth of the digital economy and satellite industries. Thaicom’s expertise in the satellite industry, with CAT’s extensive know-how in providing digital solutions, will help them leverage advanced solutions and services for various applications and industries.

The newly established JV company will boost the opportunity to develop telecom services via low-Earth orbit satellites and benefit Thai citizens with high-speed 5G internet services, IoT (internet of things), M2M (machine to machine) technology, drone technology as well as applications in areas that need high levels of accuracy such as remote surgery.
