On January 6, 2025, Kudun and Partners proudly kicked off the new year with an inspiring firm visit from a group of international law students engaged in a cross-border pro bono initiative. The group included students from the Pro Bono Group of Thammasat University, National University of Singapore, Universiti Malaya, and International Islamic University Malaysia. The purpose of this visit was to gain insight into how corporate law firms in Thailand approach pro bono work. It focused on exploring the challenges involved and the legal frameworks supporting pro bono initiatives.
During the visit, Peerasanti Somritutai, our Partner and Co-Head of Real Estate Practice, delivered an insightful presentation on the firm’s pro bono initiatives. He highlighted the firm’s commitment to pro bono work and discussed how corporate law firms can play a significant role in driving social impact. Peerasanti’s presentation provided a practical perspective on how legal professionals can engage with and support underprivileged communities through pro bono activities.
Kudun and Partners is grateful to be selected as the only law firm the group visited during this trip and is honored to support such a significant initiative. The firm remains committed to empowering the next generation of legal professionals to embrace pro bono work as a vital component of their legal careers.
