About the Role

As we continue to expand our firm and will be moving to a larger space located in Vivre, Langsuan, we are looking for a Business Development Specialist to assist the Business Development and Marketing Department.

Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Assisting with creating and drafting content for business development, marketing, and press releases across diverse communication platforms such as the firm’s website, social media channels and other third-party websites for the promotion of the firm’s services and capabilities
    • Assisting and collaborating with lawyers on the preparation of fee proposals, capability statements, practice credentials and other relevant marketing materials required in the client pitching process.
    • Conducting market research to identify potential clients, industries, and market trends relevant to the firm’s practice areas.
    • Preparing and compiling submissions for various industry accolades such as league tables, legal directories and awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, IFLR1000, Asialaw), ensuring timely completion to optimize the firm’s visibility and acclaim within the legal sector.
    • Assisting in the development and maintenance of client relationships by coordinating client communications, organizing client events, and facilitating feedback mechanisms to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
    • Maintaining the deal database up to date and recording deals for precedence, marketing, and business development purposes.
    • Executing communication programs for general correspondences both internally and externally in accordance with the firm’s style guide and corporate identity.
    • Providing necessary support to the Head of Business Development as required.

Requirements

    • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
    • Demonstrated ability to work confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, service-minded, commitment for excellence, ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Effective prioritization and time management abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs.
